ARTYPARTY is a fun 3 hour ‘paint & drink’ event for anyone who wants to give art a go.
Our standard format is as follows:
Start time eg. 6:30pm (note: we start at 3pm on Sunday afternoons in Petone)
6:20pm – 6:30pm – Arrive
Arrive, get a drink, put on an apron and mingle (1st drink is included in ticket price)
6:30pm – Painting begins
A professional artist steps the group through painting a simplified version of a famous painting or local scene. Compositions are designed to be completed by a beginner within the two-hour class time. All participants will take home a completed artwork! There will be plenty of time to ask questions and receive one-on-one help from us, local professional artists.
7:50pm – Breaktime (10 minutes)
Painters can buy drinks and nibbles, socialise and check out everybody’s artwork.
8pm – Painting continues
Painters will continue painting and complete their masterpieces on the night.
9-9:30pm – Wrap up and group photo.
As Artists ourselves, we will not rush anyone to finish.
